MUKTESHWAR, Uttrakhand

Mukteshwar

Mukteshwar is a beautiful hill station in Kumaon region of Uttranchal in India,
amazing place to spend a weekend, one can go there for relaxation, distance from Delhi is 350 Km, 9 hrs journey.

I stayed there in a hotel called ” Frozen Woods” it was amazing, there was only four rooms, two on the first floor and two big rooms on the ground floor

Hotel Frozen Woods, Sitla Village, Mukteshwar

hotel was 10 km inside the forest area, so the drive was little adventures, I saw one deer on my way to hotel

the area was amazing surrounded by lush greenery, for the first time in may life I saw peach orchids, green apple orchids

Hotel staff was friendly, service was good, food was simple, served hot & fresh, I like the hotel dinning area as well

now this was all about the hotel, now come back to Mukteshwar ,  Mukteshwar is famous for the Mukteshwar temple, potato research centre and for its beautiful scenic beauty, it is all surrounded by pine trees, deodar trees, flowers everywhere, weather was awesome even in the month of june
