Kanyakumari is in the Tamilnadu state of India, it is located at the southernmost part of India, Kanyakumari is also known as Cape Comorin, Kanyakumari takes its name from the Hindu goddess Kanyakumari Amman
I’ve been to kanyakumari twice both time in the month of December, weather was pleasant in southern India at that time

both the time I stayed in Vivekanandpuram, accommodation was neat and clean, vegetarian food was available, free buses available towards Kanyakumari beach, pickup and drop both, that was the best part.

Kanyakumari’s main attractions are Kanyakumari amman temple on the beach, Swami Vivekananda smarak, where you can reach by ferry’s, Sant Kavi Tiruvalluvar’s Statue,Gandhi memorial all these attractions are on the Kanyakumari beach, also there is a lighthouse on the beach  from where one can get a panoramic view,

there is a market on the beach, where you can buy souvenirs and other local products , variety of shells  are also available on the  beach for sale,
